possibly... but there are 2 problems...

A. cost... it would be a multi-billion dollar operation, especially considering how much damage has been done to many of the palaces since the invasion...

B. culture... it's a very conservative culture that probably wouldn't accept the decadent "casino" lifestyle... after the first 20 or so car bombs, not many people would want to go there to gamble, and there isn't enough local riches to support casinos in Iraq right now...

Not all people in vegas have gambling problems that is very sterotypical(because i live here and i dont have a gambling problem and i dont know other that have gambling problems .But anyway how word the iraq's even have money to go and gamble, and no tourist would want to come there, because of suicide bombers and other weridos like that. So i dont think it would really work out

So they can all have gambling problems like the people in Vegas? These people are living in poverty, oh yeah, let's find a way for them to unnecessarily spend there money.
