my answer i love going to church so i can thank God for what he has done for me

Of course... anything that helps me in life is worth going to. I have grown so much just by being around positive people who are striving for the same things that i am. I love going to church because i am growing mentally and emotionally and i have been a better person since i have been going to church.

Yes, I love going to church. I love the feeling of peace I get by the time the service is over. It's like my faith in my beliefs and in humanity is restored.

No b/c the church I grew up in said everything from listening to non christian music from going to the movies was evil, I never even got to dress up for halloween. My mom was a brainwashed psyco who didn't let me do anything a normal child or teenager would do growing up.

Nope, fraid not. Church has gotten to be too routine for me. It's just kind of irritating watching everyone stand and sit as one, and repeat words week after week without thinking about them, or really meaning them. I prefer to keep my spirituality in my own personal way. I just find that my way doesn't involve church anymore.

i do love going because at my church i am given answers instead of being patted on the shoulder and being told "it will be ok sister just put your hands in the air and FEEL THE HOLY SPIRIT"

Yes, because I like to be surrounded by people that believe as I do for the most part. I always feel uplifted afterwards, too.

No, I hate it, there are always fakes who are so painful to watch. And I always feel stupid and bad, not loved like I should.
