I want a boyfriend, since I'm in high school earlier than i should most of my friends already have one. Nothing serious like sex because I believe in God and abstinence. But I just want a boyfriend? And alot boys do like me

its all up to you, but in my opinion, i would wait. im a few years older, and im glad i havent had a bf yet. ive seen too many of my friends ruin friendships and hurt themselves over those kinds of things, and its much easier and in my opinion more fun to just have lots of friends, guys and girls. time is flying way too fast for me, and i know ill have plenty of time for boyfriends later. now im just having fun being young with my friends, both guys and girls, before its too late.

It is not wrong to be interested in boys at 13, that is about the age everything starts changing for us. Just don't jump in because everyone else is, make sure it's something you want to experience. Dating is how we discover our likes and dislikes in people and what we want in a future mate. Church dating is a very good place to get your feet wet. You have a better chance on meeting someone who has the same beliefs and values as you; which will give you common ground to start with. Be a friend first, then take it slow. Your high school years can be wonderful, or some of the hardest years you'll ever live through. Take it easy, don't rush, stick to your beliefs and set your limits. No, its not wrong to WANT a boyfriend.
But, you don't NEED a boyfriend at the age of13.
I'd keep the boys as friends for now.
You say a lot of the boys like you.....lots of boys will like you and keeping them as friends will pay off, because if any of these boys want you as a girlfriend, then they will be there when your ready for a boyfriend/girfriend relationship....The others will just fade away as soon as they understand they are not getting any action.

It is not wrong but you would be so much better off leaving all of that stuff for later. If you ask most adults they will tell you that they wish they would have saved the "boy crazy" stuff for later. Concentrate on friends, family, and school...there will be plenty of time for boys later.

when i was 12 i already want to have a boyfriend out of curiousity! boys courted me but i dunno why i cant seem to hang out with them! i was scared to have a boyfriend but at the same time,id love to have one..lol
its never wrong for a girl to feel like ur wanting a boyfriend on your own,but yeah limitations are of course needed!
you can prolly start with like mutual understanding..dont go over to serious relationship since 13 seems too young still for a serious one! you can have one like pupply love? but i tell you,in your age,u just seem curious what "having a boyfriend on my own looks and feels like!"

well if you really want a bf try to ask someone out you known a lot or one of the boys that like you a lot. or even when girl want a bf sometimes its a call to desperet. i am not saying you r but just to let you now.

no it's not wrong, considering i had my first boyfriend when i was 3... just don't take it too seriously, just like hold hands, little pecks on the cheek, and long walks... no sex! btw... the girl above doesn't know what she's talking about... lok at her picture!
