You should answer them. YOU are his parent, and the first REAL knowledge of this subject like it or not, is up to you. He's only asking because he's hearing a bunch of B>S> from his friends. If he can't come to you for clarification, then Who? It's up to you to present the facts. So, just do it! It's your duty and your job!

Well, answer his questions according to his age. I'm the mother of three sons, ages 16, 14 and 3. I have always told them the truth. If you don't, some little punk at school will and chances are...he will have misinformation and make it vulgar. It's best coming from mom.

You aren't "entertaining" you are "raising." Yes, you should answer his questions. Otherwise, he'll get the wrong answers from other people. He's not going to stop asking questions about sex simply because his mom feels too divorced to answer them.

You should answer his questions no matter how old he is. My mom always told us things about sex, drugs, STD's, etc., from about 6-7 years. Sometimes it gets uncomfortable but I tell you something all her talks stuck in our heads and I think it help us to make smarter choices. When start teaching kids from a young age about sex and so on it will stay with them, so when he is confronted with these issues he'll know how to handle them.

Depends on how old he is. If he's a pre teen, he may have heard tidbits from school buddies and is curious now. You have to be the judge of knowing when to talk to your son about sex and body parts. If he's a teenager...ignore him. He's probably trying to embarrass you! :-)

Yes, to a certain extent. All kids need "the talk" at some point. you can just give him some reading material or informative books if you are embarrased about it. he is curious and will find out somehow anyway, so he might as well learn the right way.

If the questions are about your sex life, or your private parts, it's none of his business. Who wants to know that about their parents anyways??? But if it's questions on the birds and the bees and they are legitimate questions, yes answer him.

If you don't give him the answers some one else will. No matter what age their are certain things he should know and its great that he's asking you b/c you know how much you want him to know. Also ask why he's interested and make sure his not being exposed to anything that he shouldn't .

Yes, you should talk to your son about sex and about the private parts.
You should be glad that your son wants to talk to you and trusts you.
Keep all lines of communication open with him.
Don't be ashamed of talking to him and be honest.
Talking to our children is part of our job of mothering.
