If you didn't choose to consult them when you gave it away, it may not be wise to tell them after. If other factors come into play, think it through and consider the best way to inform them - any adult close relation (an aunt) whom you can entrust to give the message will help. If you lost it in a forced situation, you have to tell your parents and/or the authorities.

If you really want to tell your parents and aren't being pressured into it then I hope you will tell them. My mom is my best friend, I told her the next day after it happened that night. I hope that you have a good relationship with your parents or at least have one of them that you can confide that in. I didn't tell my dad, but we don't have the greatest relationship. Well at least we didn't then. Don't listen to anybody who tells you that you "should" wait until marriage to lose your virginity, you lose it when you are ready. Nobody gets to tell you when you "should" do something like that. It is totally up to you and the person you are going to lose it to. But if you really are going to tell your parents, just kind of ease it in to the conversation with them. I suggest telling whichever parent you get along with most first, that way they can help back you up with the other parent. Ease it to him/her though. It could be a very emotional thing for him/her to hear. Good luck hun.

It is none of their business, this is a part of your personal life. As a father of 4 I just knew only an idiot would pretend they would wait till marriage, etc. I just made sure protection was available and left them be to make their own decisions and when I did find out one was no longer a virgin I accepted it as a fact of life just as I did when their permanent teeth came in etc. etc.

My moms an OB/GYN so it was pretty easy for me. Shes constantly talking about sex and I randomly mentioned it during a conversation. I think parents respect it more when you're forward with them and tell them what you know and ask questions. It's always nice to know your children are educated about sex rather than wondering if they're out having unsafe sex.

if you have serious questions about sex just come out and tell your parents. they might be more supposrtive than you might think .. also if parents do not have the answers they will be willing to find them for you. besides i think you deserve to be able to talk openly with your parents and not have big ugly secrets.

wake them up from the stone age if your 18. Repent and ask for forgiveness if your under 18. Or, just dont tell them... unless you want to hurt them.

Why would you want to? Are you trying to break their hearts? Are you trying to ruin their lives, those two hard working people who raised you while you had a guy between your legs? You should be ashamed of yourself.

DON"T!!! dont mess up a good thing wait until they ask you. Trust mother's will ask when they think they are ready to know. So if they ask let it rip but if they dont keep it zipped.

u have to tell them before it is too late or they figur it out by themselves, it will hurt more if you will not tell them. it's better if you call them. so u don't have to face the angry and depressing eyes of ur parents.

It's none of their business, unless you're like 12 and pregnant.
