Are you using webmail or pop3 mail? Like do you login into hotmail or yahoo to get your mail or use Microsoft Outlook. If you use Microsoft Outlook, someone that has admin privileges on your PC can go through your personal files and get to your Mail Inbox file or files. If they delete it you just lost all your mail from your inbox. If you login into webmail where your mail is not kept locally on your PC but on for instance a Microsoft Mail server, then most likely your password has been comprimised. Change your password. If you webmail inbox was deleted you may be able to contact your Mail provider and see if they can restore your data from a tape backup. They do have backups .. just not sure if they think we are worth the time to restore the data. You can try though.

Not sure if they can trace it. Even if you requested it, I am not sure Yahoo or whoever would take the time and check that for you. Write the Yahoo people or whoever you have your email with to ask if they can trace it for you. See what their response is.

Also, I hope you CHANGED your password!!!!!

you could't delete one account with out taking away all of your Yahoo amenities. contact customer provider to be certain the thanks to make some solutions elements "invisible" and/or how you'll get rid of from public view something that is seen.

Depends on your webmail client. Yahoo mail can't track it, but some other services usually can.
