Would advise

1. Run your antivirus/scanning for anything
2. Check startup folder..any unsual things in it?
3. Type MSConfig in Run, scan thru all items in startup tab..disable anything you not sure
4. Got to registry > HKEY_Current_User>Software>Microsoft>Windows>Run/RunOnceg..check for unsure items. (DO not delete any key in Registry unless you are sure of it and also always do a backup.)

Check your startup programs you may find this folder is in there.

In the Control Panel you will find the Startup Button (XP)
Just unselect the programs you do not want to run

You have caught something. Make sure your antivirus software is up-to date. Are you using any anti-spyware software? Ad-Aware and Spybot are free.
