Are you using webmail or pop3 mail? Like do you login into hotmail or yahoo to get your mail or use Microsoft Outlook. If you use Microsoft Outlook, someone that has admin privileges on your PC can go through your personal files and get to your Mail Inbox file or files. If they delete it you just lost all your mail from your inbox. If you login into webmail where your mail is not kept locally on your PC but on for instance a Microsoft Mail server, then most likely your password has been comprimised. Change your password. If you webmail inbox was deleted you may be able to contact your Mail provider and see if they can restore your data from a tape backup. They do have backups .. just not sure if they think we are worth the time to restore the data. You can try though.

no longer effective in the experience that they could hint it. although in case you requested it, i'm no longer effective Yahoo or whoever might want to take the time and verify that for you. Write the Yahoo human beings or whoever you've your digital mail with to ask in the experience that they could hint it for you. See what their reaction is. also, i am hoping you replaced your password!!!!!

Probably not. You did not name the E-mail provider. How many people have you told your password? Was your password easy to guess?
