Nirvana and Metallica
Cobain wrote music because its what he liked to do. he didnt buy into the propaganda. He wasen't in it for stardom money or success. He had a passion for making music. Getting across his songs. he had respect for the bands that came before him. Sure anyone can say they dont care. But he couldnt handle the success and fame. he didnt want it. he could not escape it.... well he did escape it RIP KURT.
Metallica just has that rock sound that no one else can top. They have been pulling along for 20 years and are just incredible. Their music is so alive and gives off energy. James has a distinct voice and it gives the music that powerful sound.
