There is no way to make stretch marks "go away". It's genetics. There's no cream you can put topically on your skin because stretch marks are not on the outer layer of skin. You can diminish the appearance, but that's it. Call your Dermatologist, He or she will tell you the same thing. I doubt that a Plastic Surgeon will tell you anything other than they can "diminish the appearance" Good luck on you quest!

Search for old questions since this has been asked before. There have been no good answers. I have stretch marks. Ha d them since I was 14. They fade quite a bit in 10-15 years. That cream suggested might work. Laser surgery is supposed also.

I had pretty bad stretch marks on my hips and after having a few treatments of microdermabrasion done they are nearly gone. It usually cost anywhere from $100-$200 at a spa/salon. But if you can't afford that you could go to a cosmetology school that offers Aesthetic courses. Most treatments are anywhere from $40-$60. They help alot. Most scars that are not deep or 2nd -3rd degree burns can be removed through microdermabrasion, laser therapy, and chemical peels.

There is a stretch mark creme called Strivectin SD which is probably the best thing on the market for stretch marks right now. It's kinda pricey - $135 a tube from a department store - or about $90 on ebay.

I don't think you can make them vanish forever, unless you have some sort of laser treatment. I've heard of people using vitamin E cream for stretch marks. You should see your doctor about other creams that could be used with better results.

exfoliation is key. Wash using a loofah sponge and make sure that you wash in all directions instead of just back and forth. Try taking those vitamin E capsules and breaking one or two open and apply them to the marks. Also add some cologen to your diet for elasticity of the skin, and last, don't gain and drop drastically in weight any more.

I've tried most things, and I am sad to say that the only way to completely get rid of them is surgery. But since I can't afford surgery, I use a combination of shea butter and cocca butter to soften them. There are no easy ways to get rid of stretch marks, but there are ways to get rid of them. If you truly want to get rid of them, you are going to have to see your doctor and schedule surgery. Soften or Surgery may be your only solutions.
I hope this helps.

Stretch marks are permanent. I had them before I had kids (growing too fast skin couldn't keep up) and then from having kids (babies growing too fast, skin couldn't keep up). Unless you have plastic surgery or some medical procedure, you'll have them forever.

my friend suggested emu oil/emu cream (find it online). Or you can find stretch mark cream from shops such as bath and body works. It could be kind of pricey.

the scars will be there forever, but they will fade a little bit. Getting tanned will make them less noticeable. You could get laser removal but there will always be a sign of scars.
