i don't know how to apply notifier on desktop when i recived mail?

i can't know that i recived a new mail my content when i open my e mail id then i know that i received a mail
pls tell who to know about new incoming mail without open my e mail id

You should install yahoo messenger if you don't already have it. It logs you in automatically when you start your computer, and notifies you immediately if you have a new mail. http://messenger.yahoo.com/

It's different depending on what email program you use.

either get yahoo widgets or google gadgets eiether one will or if u got yahoo get their messanger
