He wasent in it for money fame or event he legacy that he created. He liked playing music. Thats why he was such a rebel. He showed up to tv shows on herion. He kicked a fan who tried ot jump on stage and stop him from playing. MTV SAID NO RAPE ME. so he showed up played the rape me intro led into Lithium and then ruined the equipment and stuck his guitar through the speaker.

Holy crap that's a tough one. I'd probably go with Elvis, yeah he wasn't much of a "rebel" but come on, he made rock music popular, without him there's almost nothing.
