Hurricane season is from June to October. Texas has already been hit with some rough weather. I lived in Houston for 2 years and never had to deal with a hurricane or tropical storm. But the year before I moved there, Tropical Storm Allison kicked Houston's @ss. And Rita did a number last year. So yes, there is a chance. Just be prepared to face it, pay attention to the weather and news reports, and if the worse happens, listen to the evacuation notices.

The chance is pretty small. Most of the Atlantic storms don't hit the Texas coast. However, I'd say you'd have a larger chance of a storm hitting if you're in Galveston as opposed to Padre Island or Corpus Christi.

not really we haven't really had tropical storms or hurricanes here in Texas lately but you never know i don't live on the coastline but i don't think so
