No I do not think you're in love because you do not actually know what love is all about. You may feel that you are in love but trust me it's not. Ask your self comparison questions like: Will I die for him?, If tomorrow he needed a kidney or part of my liver will I give it to him?, If he went to jail will I wait for him, If he cheated on me will I forgive him?, If I got put out the house will he find me another home? those are some things to determine love if you said no to at least 2 or more your not in love you just like him alot. And If you are talking about what I think you're talking about around the corner I wouldn't do that! I was fourteen when I gave it up and I got pregnant and boy that was the worst thing in life! I couldn't finish school and now I am struggling at 24 to get a degree. Stop and think about the down falls that can occur first. Your life is so precious and you shouldn't wait until your my age to figure it out. Wait until you are old enough to know the meaning of the feelings you are feeling.

i think that the term is called puppy love. at the age of 13 or 14, we arent worried about how he is going to support us later on, and at that age, the last thing you should have to worry about is getting pregnant and getting a bad dose of learning the hard way.
we all fall hard for a boy along the way that always ends up not being what we really want or need. and needs when you are 14 are a lot different than when you get older.
what you want when you are 20 is not necessarily what you want when you are 30 etc.

Keep in mind that love is a feeling where you are willing to do anything for that special someone and put their needs above your own.
There are different stages of what you are experiencing.
And folks, do not judge this individual and tell her that she is not in love. You do not know.
But keep in mind that 8th grade romances don't typically last. Maybe in the 1920s, but not today. Kids are much too immature and unserious.

No. It feels like love, but it's only puppy love, infatuation. Ask your parents to take you on some type of a trip for (3) weeks and you will see how when you get back you wont feel the same about him. If he goes away he wont feel the same about you when he gets back. Guaranteed.

PLEASE listen to kiwikofii, I couldn't have said it better myself and the thought of what you could lose with the wrong decision at this point absolutely terrifies me. It is not love because you are not old enough to understand that kind of love. Later in your life it may turn into love but wait and see.

ok this is what i think, i know if you are in love then you would not be thinking this you would honestly know that you are in love with this guy, and the same for him he would know as well not think that. So if you know with out just 1 doubt in your head and mostly in your heart then yes you are in love.

i know how you feel coz i am also in eighth grade. i don't think you are in love coz as soon as you see a better person then him belief me you will fall for the other one. it is just and infactuaction. it is justa feeling of likeness.
