what do u do if your computer has been infected with spyware?

ok my windows has detected spyware infection on my computer and i'm freaking out. okay first of all cause i need to fix it and i know i'm need money so i thought does anyone one of a way i can fix it for free i don't have that much money to waste.

Go to www.security.kolla.de and download a program called Spybot Search & Destroy. It's absolutely free and very trustworthy. Just install and run that...it should find most things. There's also some ppl on their forum who will help you with anything else. Oh, and Lavasoft adaware is also great, when used with Spybot.

Of course, if you were just on the net and a Window popped up saying you have spyware, you don't! It's just a scam.

I know of two free programs that you can download off the internet: SpyBot: Search and Destroy and AdAware. When you run both of them, they get rid of most spyware, bugs, etc. A good program to buy is System Suite. It's a little pricey, but it has virus scanners and an enormous amount of other thigns you can run to make your computer faster, more efficient, and more organized. I highly recommend all three of these programs.

as above people said use the noadware or adware programs to clean your system for free.or u can download system mechanic which will clean spyware(30 day free trail.)
then get yourself a free firewall(sygate etc),and some free anti virus and update each of them regularly so u wont get infected.
then change to firefox if u r using internet explorer to avoid malicious code.

Webroot has an anti spy ware program, that has a 30 day free trial. It is called Spy Sweeper, and it works great. It not only eliminates the spy ware that is already infecting your computer, but it protects your computer, from future spy ware infections.
If this doesn't solve your problem with spy ware, nothing will.

Best thing to do ... get system mechanic ... best thing out there ... take my word .. not free ... but u know how to work arround it im sure ;-) .. if therz a man known spy ware out ther .. itll clean it. Also keeps da system runin up smooth after u use it once a in a wekk or 2.

2. take to best-buy have them do it for you.
3. go to mycrosoft.com under dowloads look for antispyware download it in your C: drive then run it .
