No, because then I tend to be let down when I see the movie. The less I know, the fewer expectations I have. This helps to ensure that I will enjoy the movie as much as possible.

I am the same way with books....I try not to read the back cover (or inner flap) because I feel like it gives too much away.

If it's a movie that I'm really anxious to see, and the trailer comes out online first, of course I'll watch it there first. But I definitely try to see it in a theater to get the full size effect. If I'm going to see a movie the same weekend that a new trailer that I want to see is supposed to debut, sometimes I'll go walk into the movie that's showing it for a few minutes to catch just the trailer.
For the very rare occurence of the very first Fellowship of the Ring trailer back in 2001, I actually bought a ticket to see Thirteen Days only to see the trailer. Unfortunately, I sat through that entire dreadful waste of celluloid for the rest of the movie too.

Oh yes all the time! I love movie trailers, they get you all psyched up for the movie to open. Though, in retrospect I can recall liking some of the trailers better than I liked the movie!

it depends on the movie...cos some lousy movie is not worth going to the cinema to watch...so in a way watching the trailer kinda tells me whether the movie is worthy of watching or not...but sometimes, the trailer is more exciting than the whole movie itself.
