an empolyer would have a right to this invasion to prevent abuses of their systems. Also, if you had a minor child and were worrying about what they were doing on myspace, or who knows what on your computer, you could invade their privacy.

Well, it presents a strong case where you may well be right.

However, most medium / large business and state/ Federal government offices have the legal muscle to make petitioning your case against them a very very expensive fight, citing their security issues for installing a key logger program.

However, if you have HARDCOPY proof their operating keylogger programs for gathering / misusing information....well, that's a whole other ball game there.
