This is actually common, along with other bowel changes such as diarrhea, and it is due to the hormone "relaxin" which does just what it sounds like it would do: relaxes your GI tract. The physical purpose for it is so that during labor your GI tract is emptied to allow for the birthing process to proceed. Just one of those hormone issues we girls get to deal with! You should limit your milk products during this time; maybe that will help. Also try taking Gas-X.

Yes and a bad case of well. the runs....... lol........
I know when my period is coming, it will hit about 3 days before hand. it is miserable isn't it.......

I usually have to poop alot I think are periods mess with or gastrointestinal.
