10 working days from delivery date....make sure you send signed receipt, they sign not you...that way you have proof in court that you tried to reach them. It also gives them good faith time to contact you to make arrangements.

General courtesy demands 30 days. However, there are various factors that can affect this. Are you coming up on any deadlines? Statutes of limitations? Claims periods?
These all depend on when the acts giving rise to your demand took place, who you're suing, etc. There are different limitations periods, claims periods, etc depending on the facts of your case.
Assuming that there are no looming deadlines, then give them 30 days.

60 is the amount collection companies give. Gives the person fair time to get the money together if they're going to, now that they're being threatened with a lawsuit.
