I live in Seattle....we have good recycle program.
.
We have trucks that pick up trash.
and we have trucks that pick up yard waste.
and we have trucks that pick up recycling.
And recycling in mandatory in Seattle.
You could get fined if you don't.
But that would only be in the case of egregious offenders.

Sending it into space is way to expensive. We will probably start to just pile it higher. The next ride at Disney will be " Space Mountain of garbage".

Pile it higher or burn it to generate electricity. Or open new landfills.

It will briefly answer your question and give you something to think about (or rather, about which to think).

we can dump it in mexico, i mean its nothing but filth near the border anyway. whats a few hundredthousand more metric tons of trash in their country gonna hurt?
