A minimum of three bat per inning in a Major League game, but as long as there are not three outs in the inning, the sky's the limit. After three outs the inning is finished and the other side takes their turn at bat. The White Sox sent 16 men to the plate in an inning not too many days ago. I don't know what the major league record is for batters in an inning, but I'm sure you can check.

The modern day record for most runs in any inning is 17, set by the Red Sux on June 18, 1953, so they had to send at least 20 men to the plate that inning.

Any number of batters in the Major Leauge can come to the plate. As for High School and younger there is a 10 Run an inning limit.

How big an inning are you talking about. I've seen 20 guys bat in one inning for one team.

As many as it takes to get 3 outs.
I know more than 9 in one inning is a nightmare if you're trying to keep score.

There is no limit ---- the inning goes until three outs are recorded. So there can be as few as three and as many as infinity.
