I do not think that anybody would miss the IRS
There is no sympathy for them
However the politicians will never vote for Fair Tax because it removes their power to intimidate the people
They sic that monster on you and then act nice by " Helping " you deal with the IRS
It is a game to them

The 30% sales tax to replace income would increase everyone making less than $60,000 a year taxes, it would be a small benefit for those making more than $125,000. I do not think it is worth it to me, to hurt those who can least afford to pay more in taxes. No lower income relief. They can change the name of the IRS but someone has to collect the sales tax. A rose by any other name smells the same.
This is the Fair Tax bill proposed by a joint Democrat & Republican committee.

Are you speaking a pair of national revenues tax to alter the earnings tax? My wager is that the IRS does not be eradicated, in user-friendly terms downsized lots. somebody might nonetheless ought to hint that the money got here in, have been given accounted for, the tests have been given deposited, etc. The IRS already has those that do this. Why not shop a number of them around, considering they understand how this is accomplished?

Since the IRS is already an unlawful (i.e. criminal) organization with no basis in law, they should be shut down forthwith, regardless. As for the Fair tax, until the Federal Government follows the Constitution, I say cut them off from any source of money whatsoever, period.

fair tax works for me, flat tax will hurt the lower income brackets.
let the rich pay for this country, and leave the rest of the common folk alone. don't believe either will come to pass, because it's the working stiffs that pay for the bulk of our economy, while the wealthy pay lawyers to find loop holes.

well if people would do their homework and research it out they would find that the IRS was organized to gather income taxes to support the war effort of WWII and by its own creation its illegal. they just never stopped taxing us and have got away with it for over 60 years now. unfair!
