I can't believe someone already mentioned my favorite, the musical 1776. Then again, yeah I can because it is a very entertaining movie that makes you feel good to be an American. Another good musical on the patriotic side is Yankee Doddle Dandy with James Cagney.
In another vein, a good drama is Armistas(sp?) Some people might not think this is a good patriotic movie, but it is, because it shows the good and bad of our early history(as well as the world's). I love Anthony Hopkins as John Quincy Adams.
