Can you apply at a clinic and take vitals with a CNA or is that certificate strictly for Nursing Homes and Hospitals, I'm questioning because the degree program I was interested in required that you have a CNA. Although now that I have it I thought I should put it to use this fall and was inquiring about what other positions I will be able to apply for other than a patient/ resident care assistant

Yes you can work in a doctors clinin however your pay will not usually be near what you'd get from a different medical business.

none that i m aware of-thats why its short for certified nursing assistant,as they are in those settings.also,in Ny you can't take vitals besides temp.good luck
