Anyone recommend a good brand of shoes. I manage a grocery store and I am a big guy. I am on my feet all day and shoes usually wear out in the soles after a week or two. Anyone have a brand that held up for them very well? Nike seem to be the worst and k-swiss seem to be the best i've tried so far.

New Balance. I work at a doctor's office and I'm on my feet constantly, and that is what I wear, and my feet have never felt better.

Puma used to be great. I think they have tied up with some other company now. However you could try doc martins or caterpillars with the Dr.schools gel insoles. Comfy on your feet and long lasting. I used to work at exhibitions and that was 10 hrs of standing and walking everyday so everyone used army issue boots. They are incredible long lasting. I used mine for 4 years. Use the gel pads in them for your soles and the best part is you can use them in all kind of weather. Your local army surplus shop will have all sizes. They are a tad bit heavy so it will take you 3-5 days to get used to them, but think of it as working out while you work.

go to a local nursing store and get a pair of sneakers from there. honestly.. they have the best sneakers bc nurses, doctors and etc are on their feet all day. also getting some insoles would be good too for extra support
