will be invited to attend the next Democratic inaugural (if they ever win again) like he was invited to attend both of Clintons?

Phelps has failed in numerous Democratic primary elections for governor of the overwhelmingly Republican state of Kansas, in 1990, 1994, and the last time in 1998, when he came in second with 15,000 votes out of a total of over 103,000 votes cast, or 15%.[27]

Phelps has more supporters in the Republican Party with his "God Hates Fags" drivel.

Of course, I'm sure you already knew that.

EDIT: Oh, I can read all right, and I know that Fred Phelps no more represents the Democratic Party than David Dukes did. OTOH, how do you justify the fact that Phelps' hateful rhetoric is shared by many of those in the Republican Party?

Not a chance in the world.

Phelps and the members of his family who make up his "church" have gone way beyond protest and are engaged in emotional terrorism against the families of fallen US soldiers. Their antics have have held the US up to ridicule in the world press, promoted hate crimes, and divided Christians and non-Christians.

Oh please. If Phelps is a democrat, then I'm the love child of George W. Liar Bush and Ann Harridan Gloryseeker Coulter.

Judge people by their actions. Phelps is racist and homophobic just like many 'christian' neo-cons.

He won't live long enough to attend the next Democratic inauguration. Hell, I'm only 30 years old and I'm betting my great great great grandchildren won't live long.

I heard those protests were started by the Westboro Baptist Church. Is he the Reverend there? But anyhow, would someone tell me when he dies so I can protest his funeral?
