things like starfish can feel vibrations in the ground (something banging on something else near them), but while they cannot hear or see, they are very resilient as they can grow back their little leggies when they loose one of them.

No, snakes can't.
For most animals that can't hear, they feel vibrations though which makes them aware of their surroundings!
