I'm driving from California through Arizona to New Mexico.

In the US, there is the ESA list of native and exotic turtles prohibited to be transported across state lines. RES are not a protected species. So, have a good trip and make sure the turts don't overheat... as long as you are comfortable, they are comfortable.

Actually they are illegal in most states. Icluding the two your going through. I would call both states and ask. Make sure you get them to "fax" you the info or "email" that way you have proof when crossong boarder checks.

For sale or if you had a large stock, maybe (although I doubt it even then.) To transport 2 pets within the US, not that I know of.
