I know the type i need and that i have 2 slots and 1 avaiable. But how do i get the computer open, and put the ram in? Help Please. Thanks

That would vary depending on the model. Generally you have a latch or screws in the back to undo and the case will come off. You would need to get the owners manual for your system.

Shut off the computer, disconnect thre power cable and lay it on the right side.Look around and you will find how the side cover comes off after you remove a couple of screws. Discharge any static electricity that you may have built up in your body (and can hurt your computer) by touching a radiator, or metal plumbing fixture. The memory is installed in a row of matching slots. There are little clips on either end of each slot pointing up. Pushing them back down will release the memory so you can lift it out. To install the new memory, line it up carefully in the slot and push down firmly, but gently. The clips will stand back up to lock it in place.
You might want to get a can of compressed air to clean the computer out when you open it...there is usually lots of dust in there.

There are two press down buttons. One on top and one below. You have to press them down simultaneously. This releases the cover. Lift it and then you should be able to see the slot.
