I hardly think that masturbation would be torture, especially for a man. Some people may enjoy that sort of thing. Then you would need to ask: Were these men really bad? Or just they all just get caught on purpose??

I suppose its possible. Back then, masturbation was REALLY REALLY looked down on so it would've been as much of a psychological/spirtual torture as a physical one.
It probably happened at some point somewhere... torturers were pretty sick minded when it comes down to it. Ever read the Malleus Malificareum? Yeah, they were pretty pervy!

mayb the person givin hand was bein tortured rather than the one bein masturbated.
