I recently read an article explaining that the Army is requesting more money to provide a transfer of equipment to the Iraqi forces. I also read not long ago that four Iraqi police officers arrived at a home, I believe near Baghdad, and brought a boy out into the streeet. They then proceeded to shoot him right there for committing homosexual acts. So, basically, putting two and two together, it appears that the US is condoning this action? We are paying taxes to provide these officers with weapons? Haven't seen that in the news yet... What are your thoughts and how should this news be spread?

His name was Ahmed Khalil.
Ali Hili, an exiled gay Iraqi who is Middle East affairs spokesman for the London gay rights group OutRage! said, "According to a neighbor, who witnessed Ahmed's execution from his bedroom window, four uniformed police officers arrived at Ahmed's house in a four-wheel-drive police pick-up truck."
"The neighbor saw the police drag Ahmed out of the house and shoot him at point-blank range, pumping two bullets into his head and several more bullets into the rest of his body."
Homosexuality is considered sinful in Islamic countries, but an anti-gay edict issued by the Shiite Grand Ayatollah Ali Sistani in October has unleashed what amounts to a pogrom against gay men and lesbians, gay Iraqis say.
Rainbow for Life, an Iraqi gay group, has blamed the killing spree on the Badr Corps, the military arm of the Iranian-backed Supreme Council of the Islamic Revolution in Iraq, the country's most powerful Shiite group. A Rainbow spokesman told IRIN, "We know for certain that those killed were targeted because of their sexual preferences."

So, yeah, even if it was Iran-backed, the US still condones that local laws in Iraq are going to be enforced by the Iraqi's. This includes the killing of gay people and several laws that allow for the killing of women, including "honor killings" of women suspected of violating social codes of sexual behavior.
Word must be spread more... you are helping with that. May your efforts spread tenfold. I'm already working on posting it in as many places as I can.

I personally find it disgusting that people are killed for their sexuality. But it happens all over the world.
The US needs to start minding our own business like we did for over 150 years. Too bad we have faciasts running our government. The plan is to kill all but 2 billion people on the planet. Seriously! The fight of the christians/jews against the muslems was planned over a century ago to start world war three if the first two world wars didn't succeed... but this leads to another web of things going on....

this is terrible.
I agree. the single best thing that you can do is to make this known to as many people as possible. If you send the link to this to 20 people and they all send it to 20 people then in no time at all it will be a known fact. I have posted it on a number of bulliten boards ad will be emailing it to my contact list (320 people). If enough people hear of it then maybe something might be done.

Well, if it is true, then unfortunately, considering bush is our president, there is nothing we can do about it, no matter how much you try and spread the news!

we are killing innocent people there is no army of soldiers there, our sanctions killed thousands of their babies , our uranium poisons their environment and slowly kills survivors there as well as their unborn, why the hell do we care if they kill each other, it seems to go along with our imperialistic policy quite nicely
