She needs to apply for her own called Medicaid fro Pregnant Women. It would cover her penatal and delivery including first expenses of the baby, But then the baby needs to apply on his/her own as soon as he/she is born.
Just make sure your hospital/OBGYN/Pediatrician accept medicaid.
good luck!

she qualifies for her own Medicaid
tell her to go apply it will even pay up to three months of prior bills and it doesn't even matter if she is working or if she has insurance already..medicaid can be a primary or secondary insurance. At the same time she applies have her apply for travel reimbursement for appointments, they pay by the mile but with gas as it is..this helps ensure she can make it to all her appointments.

She should check to see if she qualifies for Medicaid. If she lives in your household, & meets the income guidelines then she should be able to get Medicaid for herself & the baby once it is born.

So sad.
Can't afford it, but you can sure put out.
I'm sorry, but to see this over and over again just is saddening.
I am a soon to be adoptive parent. I had to PROVE I could afford to take care of a child, WITHOUT assistance...they should make biological parents do the same thing.
