Go with the girl that isn't so pretty but has a great personality and character. Beauty can turn ugly when you don't like to be with them.

Since what is considered beautiful from person to person, you can only go by the usual standard, mankind has determined, as being beautiful. The small details are left up to the individuals to decide which people are graced with beauty.
I believe the standard that society has built, is this:
unblemished skin
even skin color
nice teeth
nose not too big
head not too big or too small
average weight
large eyes, not too far apart or too close together
eyes centered. If one eye iris is offset toward the center of the face, that is considered a plus.
hair not too thick or too thin
well defined jaw line
Have all their teeth/straight teeth
chin not too large/long, or too small
slender neck
straight back
shapely legs
small wrists
nonreceding hairline
nose not too wide or too thin
full lips, atleast the bottom lip
no bushy eyebrows
good posture
moves gracefully.
has good manners..such as, not eating with your mouth open.
smiles a lot/loves people
caring individual
is not selfish
is not conceited
has a sense of humour
doesn't talk loudly or laugh loudly
I think that about covers it. I just described what society has deemed as perfect BUT you could meet this indiviual, I just described and walk away, saying, ""He/She is okay but I wouldn't say they were beautiful.
That is the sad truth.
Perfection does not exist.
Only the individual can determine what is beautiful. That would only be when they see it and not all of their friends would agree.

Sorry, I can't really describe a female all that well. But on the other hand a man I can certainly try. I would look for compassionate eyes, as I feel they are the soul looking glass into the heart. Then lips, they need to be full and soft, and most importantly the words that leave those lips must be of kind and of the stimulating type. The body type would be a man who prides himself on the way he presents himself(meaning any body type as long as they have dignity and pride). Thus leading into some type of socialization and interaction amongst both groups of friends, family and so on.I think the general stereo type are a commodity. The woman who you need to look for is already beautiful to you; and usually she is standing right in front of you. But you sometimes surpass this woman and forget what she really has to offer you.So I guess my answer would be that we all have different type that appeal to us. General Quote: "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder"! So go with your gut instinct and you will end up with a Hottie.Good luck!

No, their is no "standard" for beauty, because different people are attracted to different things. A standard would be something everyone agrees on. However, there are a few things that MANY people find attractive, and there is a stereotype of beauty. This would be full lips, shiny hair, thin, and nice teeth. For men it could include a muscular body, tan, tall and broad.
I guess those would be the standards.
So a standard beauty would have full lips and a great figure
And a real beauty would be what you are specifically attracted to... if that makes sense. Because a real beauty to YOU isn't a real beauty to me, but a person could be a standard beauty to both of us.

I define a beautiful face as one that doesn't need make-up, good skin color, clean & healthy, oval shaped (but not too long). Nose not too long either. A chin that doesn't stick out too far but doesn't look chopped off. Big eyes (not too big). Outer beauty is only "skin deep." Mother always said, "Pretty is, is pretty-does" (real beauty is a beautiful attitude/behavior)... she'd say that when she saw us girls wearing make-up. According to society's outlook, there is a standard concerning looks... there's ugly, fair, average, pretty, beautiful, gorgeous & drop-dead-gorgeous. "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" ...what you see or think is beautiful to you is all that really matters.

Studies were done with babies and they tended to prefer faces that were more attractive and pleasing. They cried less. What did these faces have in common? They were almost symeterical. Read up on the web about "The Golden Mean" and proportions used to measure beauty.

Strange phenomenon: Take pictures of 100 males or 100 females. Using digital technology, morph them all together into a perfect blend. The result will be the most angelically beautiful face you've ever seen.

The following is a direct quote from Parade magazine written by Marilyn vos Savant (IQ 228 world record):
"Studies indicate that a somewhat high forehead, large eyes, a smallish nose and chin, prominent cheekbones and full lips are close to the ideal for women, as judged by men."

I truly believe that beauty lies in the eye of the beholder. No two people will give the same answer to this question. Because no two people believe, or think, alike.
