we went to dump ashes of my great-uncle in to the ocean.we all jump out into water and let lose of the ashes and i had to really really "go".was it wrong that i went?

just think of it this way, since water brings on the urge to pee...how many people in your family were doing the exact same thing at the exact same time?

Of course not, you were just doing what comes naturally and since you were already in the ocean I am sure it just floated away. Besides your uncle is dead anyway, what does he care. Plus, he could have been into "water sports" if you know what I mean!

well.... if you had to go, you had to go.... my question is "whould your great uncle have found that funny?" if so, then it's more than okay. if he wouldn't have found it funny, then i still think it's ok, because while the ashes were his earthly remains, his spirit was already in it's eternal rest.
