Is that still a don't for black girls? Any specific blue, or just blues all together?

Blue eye shadow doesn't really do justice to anyone. I think golds and bronze colors look especially good on black girls...I wish I could wear 'em, but my face is too pale!

I don't believe that any color is a no no. It is all in how you wear it. I think that all blue over all of the eye would be a mistake. But if you put a base color all over your eye, a medium color in the crease and then use the blue lightly on the middle of the eye lid to just add a little color.
This is the one site that I could find that had sort of an interaction type feel. You can see what different colors look like.

Black girls can wear blue eyeshadow. Just make sure that it doesn't look tacky. Use softer colors rather than bold.

As Jamie Lee Curtis said in "My Girl".... a girl can never have too much blue eyeshadow. Try a pearlescent shade. Something that sparkles!

I have never like blue eye shadow. I don't care what color skin it goes on. It never looks good. And that would be ALL blues! I 've seen make-overs on tv done on black women and they don't ever put blue eye shadow on them. There's got to be a reason.

go with a colbalt blue with a metallic shimmer to it, it looks ethereal on deep black skin. Avoid opaque baby blue though, a thin electric blue looks good.

I've seen silvery eye makeup on a black woman it bordered on blue-ish but it looked really nice it was close to the lash line.

Aqua Blue would look good just don't use too much. A little goes a long way.

Honestly i don't think its a good color for eyeshadow. The natural look is what i go for.

I don't know, why don't you find magazines and see what the black models wear, you can match it and look glamorous too.
