A headache is a good sign of high blood pressure, although it's unlikely that you could tell your blood pressure was high without doing any actual testing. Your best bet is to buy a home sphygmometer and test yourself.

3 years ago, I was diagnosed - hypertension with a reading of 160/100. I used to feel dizzy a lot, my legs had awful cramps, and levels were very low in my potassium, causing my fingers and toes to always cramp together. One day I started to feel really faint while I was driving with my daughter in the back seat and I passed out, hitting 3 cars and ending up in a ditch. That moment,I knew I had to do something because my meds weren't working. I heard about this diet from a friend and thought I'd give it a shot. The results have been remarkable. In just 21 days, I honestly can't remember feeling this good, my blood pressure went from 175/110 to 125/70.

It's very difficult because sometimes high or low blood pressure can go with no symptoms at all. You may feel the same symptoms with both (high and low blood pressure) A very simple way is checking it at your local Walgreen, Walmart. They usually have and automatic machine (free of charge) that gives you a very close reading of your blood pressure and heart rate. Of course you should talk with your doctor if you have any concerns about your blood pressure.

You can't "really" tell if you have high blood pressure without testing it. But here are some symptoms: Hot flashes, redness of ears or cheeks, dizziness, find it hard to breathe or to catch your breath. If you think that you may have high blood pressure you defiantly need to go and have a test done.

Not sure.
I had all those symptoms metioned but had great blood pressure the whole time. The highest I got was 120/80. And, I took it more often by myself because I had swelling --- and was just concerned that something else might be going on.
Your local firestation will check your bp if you don't know how or don't want to. I know our local church has volunteer nurses that will do it too...just check around or learn to do it yourself.

A headache usually but it's a pressure headache from the inside out, like your blood is rushing too fast and it just aches...that's how I know.

Headache that wont go away, blurred vision, dizzy, and your ankles and legs get really swollen. Thoses are the signs my doctor told me to watch otu for when i was pregnant. If you get any of these symptoms i would call your doctor right away and llay down.
