Some of us remember high school and college a little better than the liberals.
Remember those vans in the school parking lot that had more smoke coming out of the windows than the faulty exhaust system? It was filled with future liberals.
Why they are proud of their unelected Hollywood morons is beyond my level of understanding. I take one look at a guy like Michael Moore and automatically want to disagree vehemently with everything he is saying.
That also goes for Babs, Jane Fonda, Alec Baldwin, and all the other declining "talents" who are trying to make a name for themselves by bashing our President.

So many things wrong here, I hardly know where to begin.
First, there are many different types of intelligence, and just because someone is not gifted in math does not mean they aren't intelligent. It takes a great deal of intelligence to perform any kind of art, be it theatre, music, dance, etc. Also, don't forget, some people are late bloomers, like Einstein who flunked his early math classes, too. Then there are facts such as: many valedictorians in high schools are involved in the arts or that it has been proven (by "scientific" types, not the artsy types) that even LISTENING to Mozart, among others, increases your intelligence. I could go on, but I somehow suspect you aren't listening to me anyway.
Second, it is a gross generalization to say that all liberals listen to the artsy type, regardless of where they end up. The previous answer that the artsy type tend to be liberal thinkers is a valid point, however. Such flawed reasoning (and I use that term loosely for you) leads me to my final point.
My last, and perhaps most important point: you are insulting people that you claim have no objective reasoning skills, and yet your question proves that you yourself have none. Think about that, and then go listen to some Mozart.

I disagree with your theory that the only people who are smart are the ones that can do advanced math and science classes.
That was the theory fed to me my whole life, and I think it's wrong.
People who succeed in a highly selective field, are the ones who should be seen as being intelligent.
There are different kinds of intelligence. People who are good at math and science, just have a specific type of intelligence and it doesn't mean they are smarter than everybody else.
When you talk about the people who can "sing or act" being the ones who are listened to by Liberals, I don't think you're being fair.
In my opinion, the people who can sing/act/write just have more sensitivity about the struggles people go through in life.
Republicans love to talk about how insignificant the arts are to life, but I think the arts are a major part of life that makes live worth living. If it wasn't for sensitive people there would be no arts.

Maybe you did well in advanced math and science, but you certainly don't have any talent in rhetoric.Screw you and the horse you rode in on.Long live the liberals, who are much better at math and science than you think, at least the liberal politicians actually fund those areas, instead of being religiously fartsy.Did you go to every school in America? You went to every school in the World? Didn't think so.Which liberals do you actually listen to? I know some genius liberals of the Independent Media, so this question has been answered thoroughly by me. You owe me 10 points.

Because artsy fartsy people in Hollywood have the talent to attract more money than the people who work with math and science do. And obviously you are inclined also everytime you watch a movie or tv or listen to music.

I don't believe that math or science are taught with objective reasoning ! there's one answer that's right, where's the objectivity in that? Conservatives, have a hard time thinking out of the box, they always need to have the right answers, which don't always exist in life.
Liberals [one who is favorable to progress & reform] Are willing to think out of the box & try new things. So called artsy-fartsy people seem to fit in this category, so, it's not so much that liberals listen to them as it is that they already think like them.
If you want to get your point out, do you get, Mr. Smith the math teacher, that is only known in his school district, or, do you get Tom Hanks ?!?!!!
Remember; Albert Enstien flunked out of school, so what do grades have to do with it.

Ronald Reagan: republican
Arnold Schwarzenegger: republican
The democrats might like the celebrities but have they elected a celebrity to office? I can't remember, my memory is kinda rusty.
And if you knew the definition of liberalism you wouldn't really say these things. Liberalism is about open mindedness. Why do you think the academia is liberal? Oh I forgot its a communist, russian ploy. They hijacked the academy of sciences, arts and other good stuff.
It's no point arguing with you. You are probably a fat smelly fast food restaurant manager, who wants to but can't make enough money for lack of education and blames liberals for his poverty.
Two points!

Because in general, "Liberal Minded" people are creative and open to new ideas and experiences. Art is a social expression.
Conservatives on the other hand still think we can live like "Leave It to Beaver" and "The Brady Bunch"

Good question. I remember all the celebs riding around with John Kerr and the adoration of their fans. If Ashton Kutcher says vote for Kerry and I like Ashton then Kerry must be cool. It is sickening.

It's okay. Just let them be. And get ready for them to reply back with something like "you are uneducated and ignorant" because i have found through yahoo answers that that is how they normally ridicule you - by somehow deducing that you can not put 2 and 2 together. Let's just pretend that they are sick, sick animals in a zoo that need to be fed in order to shut up.
