No I've never done that. If you want to feel better about your life, go help people that are in need, like the elderly or the handicapped. They usually have a very harsh world. Good Luck.

You ask a couple questions - Do you do this? and do you think the world is harsh. My answer is yes and yes. I have a saying that goes like this ... "Tears are to the soul, what soap is to the body" - it cleanses you. If you find yourself crying constantly and not understanding why though, I would like to encourage you to speak to a professional about your feelings. There is nothing wrong with having a person to bounce things off of and also receive unbiases support. The world being harsh - yes, it can be. I try very hard to find the beauty in each day. It could be a bird singing, a child laughing, running water, the sunrise, etc. I feel it is important to find focus on positive things because the world has become harsh - we must not let it suck us in to it's harshness though. Keep hope and faith alive. The world, no matter how harsh it becomes can't take that away from you or anyone - ever.

No I sure don't. I try to sleep at night so I can get up and go to work in the morning. The world ain't harsh. The people in it have just gotten too sensitive to deal with it as it always has been and always will be. Suck it up boy and quit your bellyaching. Crying never solved anything and never will. The only way to get on in this world is to take it on its own terms and accept the fact that you can't change it. Tons of people have it worse than you, no matter your station in life, but you don't see them bawling all the time. No they get up and do what they can to better themselves and care for their families. Your crocodile tears ain't gonna help nobody.

Crying is a natural and healthy release. Yes, sometimes the world seems very harsh. It's good to process your emotions and not keep them bottled up.

I have cried a lot in my time, but no I don't cry all night long.
There is a time to cry and a time to laugh. We can't do just
the one. Yes the world can be harsh, but there is also great
kindness and joy too. I hope you experience the better part.

Yes, there are lots of problems in the world, but lots of good things too. Try not to focus just on sad things. If you have some of the following symptoms, it's time to see a doctor for help.
"Common symptoms of depression include:
Sad or irritable mood
Loss of interest in activities that were once enjoyable
Large changes in appetite or weight
Difficulty sleeping, or oversleeping
Slow or agitated movement
Loss of energy
Feelings of worthlessness or guilt
Difficulty concentrating
Frequent thoughts of death or suicide"
1 out of 12 teens get depression, but don't get stuck in it. They have medicine that helps.
