Drink to forget their loss

Some people in England may celebrate the 4th of July. In reality, the segregation of America from England is just of a great day for us as it is for other countries. America does try and help, rather that may seem wrong or not. I'm confused as to why'd they'd celebrate any loss when it not only happened in the year 1776, but this a completely new generation. What do you think the South, where I live, does on the day the Civil Rights ended? (Nothing) What do you think the North does? (Probably nothing)

It's just a regular day for them.

Only the United States celebrates Independence Day on the 4th of July.

what do you do on January 1, other than geting over a hangover! lool, not mcuh rite, UK's indepedence day is on January the 1st and we Americans do nothing, the same way, UK does nothing but the usual stuff on the 4th of july, except for American in England would celebrate it or those who follow America closely in England. The prime minister of UK will usually call on the president of the US to wish the US, a happy independence day and re-commit trade and defence agreements..
