my grand mother was born so so long ago that when I was born she was almost 82 years old, but she would read Hemingway and others to me all the time, and she would go for real long walks with me, just me and her, then my uncles built her a beach home and she would walk to where they were building it with me, we would sit and put our feet in the water and it was so so cool to do this with only her..she lived for only tow more years after the house was built, I will never ever forget my grandmother, she was so cool..

thank you very much for helping me remember her
thank you

smile
good luck
and
God Bless

Travelling from Canada to the UK to go visit my grandparents.. and spending time with both sets of grandparents while I was there.... I only got to see them a few times in my life before they died and I cherish those memories more than just about anything else I can recall from my childhood.

We never had alot of money growing up and Valentine's Day was not normally spoke of in my house. When I was about 13 I came home on V-day and on my pillow was a cut out cardboard heart that said Happy Valentines Day and on the back it said I love you from my mom. I thought it was really sweet of her and is probably one of my best childhood moments
