I sing & play keyboards, and examples of what I mean would be:

"Against All Odds" by Phil Collins
"Shower the People" by James Taylor
"Just the Way You Are" by Billy Joel
"You Are So Beautiful" by Joe Cocker
"You're Beautiful", by James Blunt

Sometimes when I practice these, I choke on some of the words because they're so lovely, and I tear up, and then I have to practice some more and try to get past the emotional word.
Except for "Against All Odds", I haven't performed any of the others on stage, for that reason, but someday I'd like to. Does it happen to anyone else here?
