It's difficult to say exactly how long it will take any one individual or couple to get pregnant. Factors such as your age, general and reproductive health, and when you have intercourse all impact your chances of conceiving a child
However, these general statistics may give you an idea of how long it will take. Normally fertile couples have a 25 percent chance of getting pregnant each cycle, and a cumulative pregnancy rate of 75 to 85 percent over the course of one year. Still, some healthy couples can take even longer to get pregnant
And you can try to increase your likelihood of getting pregnant sooner by learning to pinpoint exactly when you ovulate, and by familiarizing yourself with the cyclic hormonal and physical changes that take place in your body each month.
I have included some links for you so you can do some reading and research on your body. OVULATION IS THE KEY TO GETTING PREGNANT! Remember that. These are the steps you need to take...
1.) Make an appt. with an OBGYN. He or She needs to give you a complete exam and make sure you are having regular periods, that your tubes are unblocked, and that you donot have anything else that may cause you to not get Pregnant ie...sexually transmitted diseases, PCOS, ect...
2.) You need to make sure that you are ovulating. Belive it or not, some women, do not ovulate. And as I said, Ovulation is the KEY to getting pregnant. To do this, you should buy a Basal Themometor (you can buy at almost any store where they sell regular themometors.) and start taking your temps EVERY MORNING BEFORE you get out of bed. to read more about this, check out this website for what they have to say about it.. http://www.mamasark.com/bbt.htm.........
3.) you also need to learn to check your Cervix Position AND your Cervial Mucus everyday. To learn more about this check out these websites... http://www.webwomb.com/check_cervical_po...
and
http://www.webwomb.com/cervical_mucus_pa...
4.) Once you have got this all down you need a place to chart them all so that you can keep track of what your body is doing and when you ovulate. www.fertilityfriend.com is the best place to do this. It is a free site and it allows you to chart your temperature, your cervial mucus and position and helps detrmine when you ovulate.
5.) Some extra things you can do are, quit smoking, do not drink alcohal, Take folic acid, prenatal & vitamins, Only have sex every other day. This is because the sperm need time to rebuild back up.
*********OF COURSE YOU CAN ALWAYS JUST DO IT THE OLD FASHIONED WAY AND HAVE ALOT OF SEX AND HOPE FOR THE BEST! LOL But for your best chances, these are the steps you need to take!!*************
~~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~PLEASE REMEMBER!!!! Even a 100% healthy couple only has a 40% chance of conciving each month, so dont get discouraged if it doesnt happen right away, even if you do all the things above. Just have fun with it, and do not make sex a chore or a job, just relax and enjoy eachother, and when the time is right, you will get Pregnant!
Good luck to you and TONS OF BABY DUST YOUR WAY!!!!! *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~...

The common wisdom is that there is no such thing as too much sex, but some are questioning that idea. If a man cannot keep up sperm production, then his ejaculate will contain very little sperm which will actually hinder the chances of conception. However, for a normal healthy male that is generally not a problem.
According to a CNN study, the following are things you should do if you're trying to conceive:
* Have sex regularly. If you consistently have sex two or three times a week, you're almost certain to hit a fertile period at some point. For healthy couples who want to conceive, there's no such thing as too much sex. For many couples, this may be all it takes.
* Have sex once a day near the time of ovulation. Daily intercourse during the days leading up to ovulation may increase the odds of conception. Although your partner's sperm concentration will drop slightly each time you have sex, the reduction isn't an issue for healthy men.
* Make healthy lifestyle choices. Maintain a healthy weight, exercise regularly, eat healthfully and keep stress under control. The same good habits will serve you and your baby well during pregnancy.
* Consider preconception planning. Your doctor can assess your overall health and help you identify lifestyle changes that may improve your chances for a healthy pregnancy. Preconception planning is especially helpful if you or your partner have any health issues.
* Take your vitamins. Folic acid (vitamin B-9) plays an essential role in a baby's development. Taking a prenatal vitamin or folic acid supplement beginning at least one month before conception through the first trimester of pregnancy can reduce the risk of spina bifida and other neural tube defects by up to 70 percent.

You only have a 25% chance of getting pregnant even if you are ovulating and everything else is in your favor. You will only get pregnant during ovulation, so having sex outside of ovulation times will only be for pleasure. I think statistically 80% of people will get pregnant within a year of trying.

Keep doing what you are doing. If the drs. you have seen tell you their is nothing physically wrong with either one of you. Just keep on doing what comes natural. It is said that a woman can try raising her legs high in the air during sex for more sperm flow to access the
egg. Does it work? I really don't know but you can try.

As do my wife and I. Sometimes it just takes a while. My only advice is not to have sex more than once a day, as that could cause a perpetually-low sperm count in your husband. However, once a day IS the recommended amount of times while you're trying. (I know, my wife and I haven't quite gotten there yet, either.)
Good luck, and may God bless your tummy someday very soon.

Relax, and just let it come. Most women get pregnant when they are not even trying because they are not stressing over it. As well there are a feel postions that can increase your chaces of getting pregnant, such as lying on your back with your pelvis tilted upright.

live a healthy lifestyle (no smoke or drink, eat healthy and exercise) and have lots of sex.
It takes couples age 20-30 on average a year to get prego...most docs won't recommend fertility treatment until at least 6 months of trying
