Plug it in & if you're on windows click start & scroll to all programs/accesories/entertainment/ from there click volume control. When that opens there will be a microphone all the way to the right make sure the mute button isn't clicked & set the volume!

Above all good answers, depends on what you have. If it the big plug you can go to Radio Shack and buy an adapter. They will help you, just tell them what you doing.

In order to do this you must install a sound card with a 6.35 mm (1/4-inch) stereo jack on it. A good one can be found from Creative Labs. http://www.xpcgear.com/xfiplatinum.html
Hopefully this helps!

If you have the correct adaptor to be able to plug the mic into your computer, it should work. A mic is a mic.
