New,
There can be a ton of reasons. My guess is that you haven't asked him, or you don't have an agreed time he should be home, right? If you are home with dinner or a kid, that is one thing. If you work late and just want to know why he isn't home alone, that is totally another. My ex-wife was a pharmacist who worked weird hours. Often, I would get off work before her, and go do the following with my "free" time...
1. Hit the mall
2. Go to the golf course
3. Hardware store
4. City park (frisby golf)
5. Work out
6. Work late.
7. Hang out with work buddies at a bar.
I never fooled around. That's what SHE did! Ha!
You get the idea. I guess with so little to go with, it is hard to say, but consider asking him how he spent his afternoon? It is a fair question.

Maybe you need to ask yourself that question i don't know the situation but have you tried putting the kids to bed early, candle light dinner, sexy lingerie, sex toys etc.... if no kids then movies or sitting out watching the moon, walking, exercising together what ever it takes to get him interested in coming home to you or ask him if he has found someone else.communicate with each other.

If it's not the weather or traffic, you need to ask him where he was? If you do not believe his answer, it's time to check his cell phone, wallet, etc and put your mind to rest. he might just be stopping off with the boys but if you are suspicious and you are not the overly jealous type, chances are you should trust your in stints. We are usually right and will kick ourselves later. Give him a chance though. It could be nothing.

If it were my husband, I'd be following his *** after work for a few day's just to see what's really going on. Anyone with experience knows that if you ask him where he goes after work, he is going to lie to you. Don't be foolish, follow him and you will have your answer. If he is hitting the same bar everyday, then maybe there is someone working there that he has his eye on. I'veBeen there and done that. I got my answer by following my man. I found him at another womans house. Don't ask him anything, they all lie.

That's probably something you need to be asking your husband.Truthfully, he is your life partner, you took vows together, communicate with him and ask him what's going on.It may be nothing but you'll never know if you don't try to find out what's up.Good luck.
