If you were running late for something really important and you saw an elderly man or woman being mugged what would you honestly do? Stop and help?or just keep going on ignoring it.

I'd use my cell phone to report the crime.
As much as I would like to help~ times are different now. You don't really know if it's a true mugging or if its a group of people trying to stage an event to prey on your kindness. As much as I hate being this cynical~ its the life and times we live in right now.

Stop and help
No way my job or an appointment is more important than a life
especially of a person that cannot defend themself

I would stop and help the person! I have done just that in plenty of situations. Forget my work or the appointment.

I'd stop for sure. I would make sure the person involved was OK, and do my best to find the jerk that did it and ensure they were brought to justice.

NOW, do you really think anyone is actually going to say, "Hell no, I would keep going. I can't afford to stop now. I'll call 911 and get someone here."
Sure, they are!!!
