I've had this question on my mind for a while..Was Jesus betrayed after him and his apostles had their Last Supper together or before they sat down to their Last Supper..Because....there are 13 people in Leanardo's painting..If Mary Magdelin is suppose to be in the picture.. There should be 14 people in the painting..Jesus, Mary, and the twelve apostles... I hope this makes since....

The teory goes as if the figure of Mary Magdalene was covered with paint after Leonardo painted her. She would be at the left side of Jesus in the place where its now a colun.See picture in

This is the theory of the book....That Da Vinci painted Mary in the place of John. That the person who is suppose to be John is actually Mary, not Mary in addition to John. This was a very religious time in history. If he had painted 14 pps and told the preist 1 was Mary he would have probably been burned at the stake. And it was after the supper when Jesus was praying that he was betrayed. He asked the disciples to pray with him but they fell asleep and then Judas shows up with the roman soliders and gives him "the kiss"

Supposedly, some of the Apostles were women, including Mary Magdelin. It's another one of those Biblical mysteries. The beardless people in The Last Supper are rumored to women, with Mary Magdelin at the side of Jesus.

Forget about the Di vinchie code,it is nothing, but fiction: First of all Mary Magdalen was not at the last supper with Jesus and the 12 disciples at all. Those at the feast of the passover were (Jesus and the 12 deciples/all men) .Before the last supper (the feast of the passover)Judas went to the Chief Priest and promised to lead them to Jesus, for money. Judas was at the feast of the Passover with Jesus, and the other 11 disciples: Jesus knowing that Judas was going to betray him, looked at Judas, and said what thou will do,go do it quickly:

After. And do remember that M. Da Vinci's painting was 1500 years after the fact. You or I could do a painting today and be just as "accurate".

Base your opinions on good facts, not far fetched ideas.
