Yes but if he has visitation rights then you have to split the cost of transporting the kids and if you have to send them on the plane you have to pay for the chaperon.

Well some states may vary but i do be live that if the custody papers say you can move out of state you can. Be careful because the other Pearson/parent may try to get you to pay part or all of the expenses to still be able to see the children. If they do not agree with your and the children's relocation. AND it was your choose i believe i some states even if male and make more money then you go to court and get a Cort order that makes you responsible for air fair every other weeked. be careful Jen

I have sole custody of my 2 children, and my divorce papers did not even mention if I was allowed to move out of state. I was in Kentucky at the time, and I contacted a lawyer, and as long as the papers didn't state I couldn't he told me it was ok to do so. And now I live in North Carolina, and my exhusband has tried to make me move back to Kentucky, but has not succeeded.

I suggest moving ur papers are the law no matter what... i also agree my papers say nothing but that i have sole custody and to give up the address of where i am going so i did it afterwards....approx. 30 days also (Ohio)

As long as your paperwork states that you can move then your free to do what you want as long as you provide him the proper contact information. My papers also said that I had to give him a 30 day notice.
