okay, so make a list. Two lists actually.
One for positive results, and one for negative results.
Include both long term and short term potential consequences.
List everything you can think of that applies.

The look at the list, and decide whether you think it is worth it. You are the one that iwll have to deal and live with the end result, so only you can determine what that will be.

Good luck.

There isn't really enough info here to answer. How much damage is it going to do? Will it matter next month, next year, or 10 years from now? Consider the ripple effect of your actions - who and what is going to be effected?

Sometimes you think you really want something, and then when you get it, it turns out to have a much bigger down side than you thought. It might not be worth the cost in "hurt things in or about your life." Ever listen to the country song "Some of God's greatest gifts are unanswered prayers"? There is a LOT of truth in that song, and it does not apply only to relationships.

Really investigate the thing that you want. Talk to people you know and trust. Talk to people who can give you more information about what you want. Be sure to talk to at least one person who isn't going to gain one way or the other from your decision. Weigh everything carefully, and then decide if it's worth the cost. (Note... if it is illegal - you can skip all the talk and just say NO.)

Depends on what it was that I wanted. I would certainly consider the things it might hurt in my life and if those things were pretty big I would take that into consideration. Doing something you really want to do isn't always the best thing to do - and often it has reprocussions that you didn't think about, but end up having to deal with.

In general, I refrain. Although sometimes I do crazy things out of impulsivity.

if you know that its going to cause someone to be hurt or for things to go bad in your life, then dont do it, its not worth it.

If it is really bad then plan it out before you seek it, plan every twist and turn so everything can go your way.

This is something you need to be in prayer about as it sounds a bit deep and lasting. God Bless you and your adventure!!

It would depend on what it was, and who/what was being hurt by my desire to have this "thing"...and how badly. This is not a yes/no question.
