How long should I wait to travel by flight after C section. I am afraid of flying as my stiches hurt. What would be best number of weeks to wait before flying.

Most recommending keeping low for 6 weeks. I've never been told anything about flying, I guess it's not that common to have the need to fly so soon after baby but I would say at least 6 weeks. Try and lay low and rest up so you can heal as best you can.

Ohh Im not sure, you may want to check with your obgyn. I had 2 c-sections and with my first for a month i could barely move, it was very hard to drive after 3 month. After my second csection I was down for 2 mths--hard to drive after 6 mths.

So it just depends on you. But I think I wouldn't fly till like 3 mths after you are all healed up and you know ther isnt any infection.

I had 3 c-sections and my recovery will all of them varied but I would recommend that you DO NOT fly until you have gone in for your 6 week check up and are examined. I would also ask your doctor about it since he knows your medical history and is better qualified to answer that question
