Well I don't know the specifics of your restraining order, but if he violates them you are well within your bounds to go to the cops and report what has happened. The key is documentation, so every time he ignores the protective order make a record of it (time, date, place, etc). My aunt dealt with this and her ex wound up going out of control, I would call the cops and mention what happened so they have it on record, and they'll either talk to him and warn him. Be careful and good luck.

Call the police. Do not play around with these people. There was a murder/suicide here in Richmond, VA because a woman wasn't holding her ex to the protective order. If necessary, move. Your life is worth it.

Have the police on speed dial on your cell phone. Don't have a cell phone? Time to buy one. The first time you see the first glimpse of him, turn around, walk the other way, grab the phone and call. Don't talk to him, ignore him and speak only to the operator.
After a few trips to the slammer, he'll get the picture.
Oh, and keep pepper spray, just in case things start to turn ugly.
Good luck.

I would tell the police whats going on and not go anywhere alone. I dont know the whole situation but if u have a order on him im sure hes a threat to you. Also im not saying violence is the answer but u could always have another guy go after him. Just be careful tho, and seriously dont be by yourself. :D

Call the police every time he violates it. Eventually he'll get tired of being thrown in jail or run out of money to post bail. I would call him a stalker. Don't you have any stalking laws in your state. Maybe you need to talk to a lawyer before something bad happens to you. Maybe he needs to be put in a mental hospital until he gets a grip.

Call the cops whenever he violates the restraining order. After a couple of times in jail, hopefully he will learn his lesson.

When he shows up, call 911 and make sure you have a copy of the restraining order, or you will be waisting your time, because the cops don't have a copy of the order, it will just make your ex angry.
